Less than 30 miles from Roanoke in Bedford, VA, the The National D-Day Memorial will host a series of events and activities starting on June 6 for the 80th Anniversary of D-Day. Sadly, Bedford endured the highest per capita D-Day losses in the United States. Words cannot express how proud we are of these heroes, and while we remember and honor their service and sacrifice daily, the 80th Anniversary of D-Day offers a significant opportunity to recognize these brave heroes.

Event Registration

World War II & D-Day veterans are encouraged to register online to ensure a special welcome and recognition during the events. Families attending without a veteran can register using a dedicated form. Large groups must register in advance as well. Want to be a part of this historic event? Volunteer opportunities are available!

Register today and reserve your spot at The National D-Day Memorial's special commemoration.
